Guests of Honor
What are Guests of Honor?
Guests of Honor (GOH) are the principal guests invited to join the convention. They are key figures representing the convention, selected from authors and artists who have a connection to the convention's ideas or theme, or are noted contributors to fandom. Guests of Honor contribute by attending important ceremonies and other events and the convention honors their contributions to the field by inviting them to attend as honored guests.
Charles Stross
Charles Stross was born in 1964 in Leeds, England, and currently lives in Edinburgh, Scotland.
In 1986 he made his first professional sale to Interzone, and went on to sell many SF short stories in the UK throughout the mid-'90s; at the same time working in freelance computer journalism. He switched to writing full time in 2000.
His Hugo-shortlisted SF novels include Singularity Sky (Ace, 2003), and its sequel, Iron Sunrise (Ace, 2004), Accelerando (Ace, 2005) , Glasshouse (Ace, 2006), Halting State (Ace, 2007) and Saturn's Children (Ace, 2008).His novella "The Concrete Jungle" won the Hugo Award in 2005.(Japanese translations are published by Hayakawa Publishing.)

Masaru Oishi
Masaru Oishi is a comic artist based in Chiba, Japan. He was born in Tokyo in 1972.
When he started his career as a comic artist, he was working for comics for adults. These days his works are mainly science fiction or fantasy comics. He has published several comics books, for example Misuwakusei Nendaiki (Aquaplanet Chronicles), Pipin-to-Pinto, etc.
